4th of July

Megan was so excited to get dressed for the 4th. She went all out even asking for Ribbons in her hair! She looked adorable. Ali went with not too much and not too little just so much as to fit in just right......
Mattie just wore what I dressed him in..
the plan was so go to Anthony's parents house for a big family BBQ and some fireworks.. I was looking forward to it but Friday night I came down with a sore throat and headache and by the time Taylor got home from work around 4 Saturday I was so sick I didn't want to lift my head off the couch. Taylor took the kids anyway and I slept and watched movies all by myself, wallowing in self pity that I was missing all the fun.
They had a great time playing with cousins, having water balloon fights, eating lots of yummy food, and watching a brilliant firework show from Layton park. They didnt get home till almost midnight. I was glad that they had such a good time but really bummed that I didn't even have pictures to see of their faces all lit up.
