Halloween party

We promised the girls this year that we'd have another Halloween party. Unfortunately I had to work, so Taylor was the party Master. The girls each got to invite 4 friends.

Ali's friend Mikayla is moving next week so she got to stay over night.

Today we're just relaxing in the warm house.

Tomorrow will be a busy day of birthday parties, trunk or treats and trick or treating.

Halloween Parade...

The girls looked so great..

Everyone was excited to see Grandma in the door watching too. Mattie went and grabbed her.

I offered to take some of their dad with them so he met us up there.

I wish I'd had Ali move out from the tree a little more.. oh well....These above fit Ali's personality so well, and the one below is totally Megan. They are both totally different and these pictures captured them so well I love it!

Mattie stayed true to his 3 year old attention span, and we didn't succeed in getting more than one or two with all three of the kids looking at the camera. Oh well, I don't really mind, this picture will make me smile for life!

It's been SO long since I've taken pictures that I forgot how to put my fill flash on, literally months since I 've even gotten it out. It felt good to have that weight in my hands and get out there and do what I love. I wish I were ten times better, but as long as I'm enjoying myself I think I'm happy.

Mattie's Kitty and blankie, two of the three most important bedtime (or anytime)must haves for this kid. (the third, still being his bink, as seen below, which we will probably never break him of). And then there is this girl again. Stunningly beautiful in her mamma's eyes. Just wish she would have stayed 5 a little longer.

I sure wish I could shave about 2 inches off my chubby face! She's so cute. She got her hair cut earlier today,She obsessed about it for about a week and when the stylist asked her how she wanted it she had no idea. She's so complex this girl of mine.

I love her so darn much.

Soccer

I never realized just how much of a commitment soccer would be. It has taken over our lives.

an hour on Tuesdays, an hour on Wednesdays, two hours on Thursdays and 3-4 hours on Saturdays! and thats for just two kids! I can't imagine adding anything else to the mix right now!

Its fun to watch them play, and I especially get a kick out of the 7 year olds but I'm so glad it only lasts 6 weeks. The girls both enjoy it and are getting better each week. I have a feeling we'll be doing this routine again in the spring.
