Ali's first day of third grade!
She Was beside herself all morning. woke up around 5am!
I had to MAKE her eat breakfast.
Once we arrived at the school she was all of the sudden Ms Shyness. She hung on my side and didn't do much more than smile shyly at her Friends as they walked up. I offered her 5 $ to go hug her best Friend from last year, but since she hadn't seen her all summer she could only muster the courage to tap her on the shoulder, grin, and wave.
I was worried about her a bit, It brought back all the memories of myself being painfully shy growing up. That caused me a lot of Friends and heart ache.
I do NOT want the girls to be that way.... I wish for them courage, and confidence..
I was relieved when I picked her up.She' was NON stop excited jumping around talking and squealing about how much she LOVES school!
This little guy was still in my belly this time last year.. poor Megan wants to go to school too.

How exciting for Ali! Megan is next! How time flies, Megan was Mattie's age when I first moved in with you.
When I scrolled down and seen Megan's face, I had to laugh..that is one of the most "life is just not fair" looks...I just want to hug her!
Your little family is SO darling!
It's just plain mean to make those little kindergarteners wait so long to go. Our school makes them wait until September 6th!! When Jake was kindergarten, he started the first day with everyone. I just love her little face and I think it's funny you offered her money for a hug.
Three of the cutest kids in the world! I can't wait for megans first day!
