We introduced Weston to Lydia today.. He sat just like this for an hour whining at her. Needless to say she will not be out of her cage unless Weston is outside!

When we had Lydia out tonight Megan was brave enough to hold her.. She quite enjoyed it and squealed with delight when it tickled her arm.

Ali didnt muster up enough courage yet but swears she will ........eventually.

We had a busy day full of fun.

Mathew and Lucas (Craig and Merry's boys) are staying with us while Craig and Merry are in Washington bringing down the rest of their things.

I finally had to separate them all last night if there was any hope of any of them sleeping..

Today they played outside for well over 10 hours. They spent much of it constructing a clubhouse behind the big Chinese elm tree and doing tricks on the tramp.

The Cason's came over to play for a few hours today too. It was nice to have Angie here to hang out and visit..

Its been a while since we've been able to do that.. I made two batches of cookies because that is tradition when Angie comes over, and I've also been promising Ali that I'd make her favorite, Peanut butter cookies.

Megan and Lucas spent a good hour preparing an elaborate tea party for Michie and Emmee before they got here..

It was finally warm enough to break out the sprinklers again today. the kids spent hours in their swimming suits and well, One of them without...........

It was still very important for him to have his shoes on you see..

We had a fabulous day.

Taylor and I even got to spend some time together tonight.. We watched National Treasure 2. It was a good flick. Megan came in during the middle of the exciting part and insisted on telling us all about her bird experience again. She was so cute, talking a mile a minute excitedly and all Taylor and I could do was pause the movie and enjoy her.
