Ali used her sewing machine to make Megan a doll blanket for Christmas. 
She got this darling sewing machine from Aunt Angie for her Birthday last May.. She finally got the chance to use it. It was very easy to use, and did a great job considering its size and ability.
I showed her how to use it and what she needed to do for the seams. We put a thin batting inside and I helped her stitch through the middle to keep it in place.
then we put a ribbon along the bottom for color..
She Wrapped it up in Christmas wrap and proudly wrote

I'm proud of her for doing it (even if I did encourage the gesture), and she was proud of her hard work too.
