We're so hot, we're steaming.........

Stephanie let us borrow her new steam cleaner. Its Amazing! I cleaned the kitchen tonight for over two hours and actually enjoyed every minute of it. The steamer is awesome, I cleaned everything from my backsplash , sink, cabinets, to my especially nasty floors. When Taylor got home the first thing he said was "Wow, its bright in here!" meaning that so much gunk and dirt had been melted away that the kitchen was shining. I would love to have one of my own, but for now I'm grateful I have such a good sister willing to share hers.

This week flew by. I blinked on Monday and here it is Friday.

Keena came over to hang out for a bit this morning. We went shopping for more Halloween decor to take to work. I'm in charge of the activities and decorating committee on the unit I work in at the hospital so its been my job to collect all I can find to put up. fortunately the dollar store has had the best decorations. I havent had to take too much out of the fund.

Mattie lost it early and fell asleep in the car for an early nap. When he woke up he enjoyed a picnic lunch all to himself before the girls got home.

I guess it wasnt enough because he still ate the dog's milk bone.

(He does this all the time, we gave up trying to stop him months ago). If he's not eating the dogs milk bones, he's in the garden picking and eating all the cherry tomatoes. He's such a funny kid.

He looked so cute in his overalls today.

He's getting so big . While Keena and I were out shopping, I found Matties Halloween costume..

I happen to think it suits him quite well. By the end of the month his hair will have grown out a bit and he'll look perfect.

He didn't really care that he was wearing it. At least he didn't protest..

Alora is spending the night, and the girls have been downstairs for the last hour making up commercials and filming them with my camera. (they're just aweful, but they're having a blast). Earlier they filled the wading pool with dirt and water and proclaimed it to be their "Spa" complete with mud bath to soften their skin.

We'll be settling in for the night soon.

the fish is still alive... and I still think the snail is disgusting.
