Happy Labor day

Its Freezing! This is how we started the day....... 50 degree outside and the hail is coming down in sheets. The girls are still with their dad today, so Mattie and I decided to take a drive in the van to check it out. We decided to go to McDonald's for some breakfast..
It was so loud!

when it finally stopped hailing, this is what was left all over the yard.

Last night we had Grandma and Papa Taylor over for dinner. We don't get to have them over often enough. Living 45 minutes apart, having crazy work schedules, and gas prices being what they are we don't' get together like we should.

Here Papa is spinning a penny for Mathew..
getting kisses from Grandma

And Taylor is SUCH a Mama's boy! He can talk to her on the phone for hours!

We finally took Mattie's crib down... He's been happily sleeping in his big boy bed for over a week now. We've had the old futon mattress on the floor beside his bed so that if he falls on the hard wood floor he doesn't hurt himself.. Without the crib, you can see his cute cars that we put up on his walls. These are along the border throughout his entire room. He loves pointing out the types of cars/trucks/jeeps they are. (He has a thing for Jeeps lately thanks to his Daddy)

While we cleaned up the mess in his room, Mattie sat happily downstairs eating "ka-korn (a.k.a. popcorn) and watching his favorite movie.

and on a final note..... Yet another MAJOR benefit of Taylor's job at UPS...... hubba hubba!
I made him let me take this picture....

Of and Toy Story 1 and 2 were Jake's favorites for years! He loved them! I think he started with them at Mattie's age. Now for you to find Toy Story toys!
