We've loved swimming so much this summer..
Ali is very good and loves doing tricks off the diving board. Megan stays pretty close to the shallow end of the pool, but loves to use her goggles to go under the water. Slowly but surely she's leaning to swim as she paddles her way from one side to the other.
It really just depends on the day whether Mathew likes the pool or not. I do love that he kept his glasses and hat on this day... I keep trying to get him to play on the top step that is about 3 feet wide.. some times he'll play beside me, but others......
he freaks out!

4th of July was pretty uneventful... Taylor had to work so Matt and I went to my parents house to hang out. Keena has officially been adopted back into the family (she and I were good friends in High school and she was at my parents house quite a bit back then). We hung out and watched Merry do everyones hair for 3 hours while the kids swam. We took turns holding Chandler, and reminded Keena that we're a very open family by re-telling all of our birth stories and whether or not we pooped on the table. It was all very funny. Matt was being very clingy wich was stressing me out so my Mom distracted him into the living room so that I could sit and enjoy myself.. She's seriously so good to me! then when he was obviously getting tired, she announced that she was taking him to my house (which is only 4 blocks away) and putting him to bed. I tried to protest but I knew that she was secretly looking forward to having an entire house to her self for a few hours so I let her go. She's not really one for crowds and we've all been invading her house quite a bit this summer..
I'd forgotten my camera again so Merry and I played with one of my Dad's .
Taylor got home around 4 and we drove up to Layton to visit his parents for dinner. I'm not one for Fireworks so afterwards we drove home and just spent the evening watching movies and snuggling... That sounded MUCH better than forging through traffic, and people to sit at a park somewhere in the 100 degree weather to watch a show.
