Megan's turn.............

Megan's Kindergarten program today.

I had a lot going on at work today that I coulndt get out of so I ended up going in at 6 so that I could get enough done to leave for an hour to catch her program at 10. I had to be back for a meeting at 11 then quickly prepared for another meeting from 2-4! It was worth all the running and even worth the extra early morning. Watching Megan up there on stage was so much fun. I smiled the whole time, and so did my parents, and Taylor. They couldnt help taking a break from their busy work schedules to see our girl preform.
When I got home from work, I took the kids to the Library so Ali could do some research for her science project. It was the most painful library experience I think I've ever had... (and we like going to the library). Mathew was so ornery and noisy. he kept saying "bye, bye.......... Go..... Bye bye......out.......go" LOUDLY....

We came home and had a simple dinner and started to wind down..

My neighbor has been spring cleaning and offered us a bunch of random goodies. She gave us a child size recliner in perfect condition. (it fits Megan perfectly), a pair of roller blades complete with elbow and knee pads for Booga. A set of 30 boxcar children chapter books which Ali claimed that she wanted to read all at once she was so excited. Megan got a doll chair and a really really cute girly umbrella with ruffles. Meg came down all dressed up with her umbrella and asked "Mom, I look like that girl with sheep dont I?"

She also had this mini Cotton Candy maker. Ali was so excited to try it out, she had it out of the box before I could bring the rest in.

I'm SOOOO ready for bed... I just wish I could sleep in..

oh before I forget: An Ali story

ali was playing in the backyard with her rough and rowdy cousins, Mathew and Lucas. Megan came in to report that Lucas had gotten hurt. Craig went out to check on them and seeing a slight red mark by his eye facetiously said "ah, that's alright, you'll just get to go to school with a black eye tomorrow". Ali frowned and dropped her shoulders saying "awww, I'v NEVER gotten to go to school with a black eye!" Craig just laughed and walked back inside..

the End.

Megan's program was sooo cute! When I was giving them a ride home after it praising her along the way, she said "I always get a cramp in my arm when we do the rainbow song." I told her it is because she was red and I bet they chose the strongest kids for red because they had to hold the color up the longest. She had this proud look on her face.
Love You,
Mom

She looks so cute up there! Concentrating so hard. I am surprised that Ali would want a black eye!
