flood

A main water line on our street broke right in front of our house. Mattie thought it was awesome. I didn't so much love the workmen using their loud equipment right outside my window at 11:30 at night, but hey better than a flood right? Note* It's been a week and they still have not finished filling in the hole or removing the ugly orange construction things from our front yard...

Don't make bets lightly

Ali and Megan made a bet last night that one could outlast the other falling asleep. Who ever fell asleep was fair game for the other with a marker.
This is how Taylor found them in the morning
I can only imagine the joy Megan had doing this to Ali...

more megan

Steph and I met for lunch and afterwards decided to browse the gift shop where we were at. Megan LOVES stuffed animals so I couldn't stop myself from buying her the cutest stuffed lamb I'd ever seen. I presented it to her that night and after hugging and naming it {Emily} she asked me for a piece of paper. I thought maybe she wanted to write her name, or color a picture. I handed her the paper and she said "thanks, I'm gonna go potty train her". Then she took a yellow marker and drew a big yellow splotch on the paper.. then a couple of big brown circles... She set it down on her floor and said "Look Mom, I trained her, she's such a good lamby!"
where does this kid come up with things?

she turned to the boy sitting next to her in the library and said
"you better back up, cuz I feel something coming!"
and then, .....
she let it rip..........
The boy jumped back from his chair and megan scoffed as she said
"you were afraid of that!?!

St Patricks day

Megan wanted the Leprechaun to leave her a surprise. She put this sign on her door and spread out her green outfit for the next day to show how dedicated she was to the holiday
